Audace 50 is born from the collaboration between Aicon Yachts and Lynx Yachts and boasts three perfectly combined external environments. Here is our visit on board during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024

After covering over 700 miles and encountering rough seas along the way, the Audace 50 made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 , immediately demonstrating its exceptional performance. This 14-meter sports cruiser is the result of a collaboration between the Dutch shipyard Lynx Yachts and the Italian-American Aicon Yachts .

The Audace 50, the first model of the future series between the two shipyards, expresses all the pleasure of life on board through its carefully studied design, together with its great sailing capabilities. This vessel, thanks to the work of an expert team of designers and engineers, marries Italian luxury with American engineering prowess and the rich Dutch tradition in shipbuilding. At the Cannes Yachting Festival, we at Daily Nautica had the opportunity to see the characteristics of the vessel in detail.

ON BOARD THE AUDACE 50

“When you climb aboard the Audace 50 ,” explains Francesco Ruiz of Lynx Yachts to DN, “ you have the sensation of climbing aboard a much larger boat. The fold-down sides and the high deck, in the style of Northern European boats, contribute to giving this effect of safety and comfort on board .”

The exterior of the Audace 50 is made up of three very spacious areas, considering that it is a boat of just 14 meters. Starting from the bow we find a generous sundeck with double seating. Passing along the wide lateral walkways we move to the central lounge, with the folding bulwarks planned halfway up the boat to offer even more space. Finally, the aft cockpit with the large sofa and the platform, constitutes the third “living room” that can be used together with guests.

“The collaboration with Lynx Yachts – Marc-Udo Broich , owner of Aicon Yachts, tells DN – has brought incredible results. Lynx’s contribution in terms of engineering and design has been fundamental. On the other hand, Aicon Yachts has remained one of the few shipyards that builds everything in-house, from fiberglass to stainless steel. This means that a customer who comes to us has the possibility to customize his boat as he wants”.
